Singtel Launched Spin the Wheel Campaign with qiksense

Singtel was preparing for an upcoming event booth with only one week to go before showtime.

This was not a one-off activation. The brand participates in multiple exhibitions and roadshows throughout the year. Each event serves two core objectives:

  1. Increase brand awareness
  2. Drive new customer purchases and on-site sales

However, traditional booth setups were no longer enough. They needed an engagement mechanic that could:

  • Attract footfall in a crowded exhibition hall
  • Incentivize purchases through a rewarding experience
  • Elevate the overall booth presence
  • Be replicated easily across multiple shows
  • Be deployed within an extremely tight timeline

The challenge was to deliver a high-impact engagement campaign within one week, with the flexibility to reuse and optimize it for future events.

To meet these requirements, Singtel used the qiksense platform to build and launch their interactive campaign.

Singtel leveraged qiksense’s modular campaign builder, using the Engage and Reward modules, to configure a complete interactive journey quickly.

Engage Modular

Using the Engage module, Singtel selected a Spin the Wheel interactive content to attract attention and encourage participation at their event booth.

The interactive mechanic was fully configurable within qiksense, allowing Singtel’s team to:

  • Define prizes
  • Set prize quantities
  • Configure winning probabilities

To fully align the experience with Singtel’s brand identity, qiksense allowed their team to easily edit visuals and campaign elements directly within the platform.

This included the ability to:

  • Add Singtel’s campaign key visuals
  • Change background designs to match event themes
  • Apply Singtel’s brand colours
  • Include the Singtel logo across the experience

This ensured the engagement felt like a seamless extension of Singtel’s campaign, rather than a generic third-party tool, while enabling fast deployment within the tight event timeline.

Reward Modular

Using the Reward module, Singtel configured how the reward is shown after Spin the Wheel, so customers can immediately know what they have won.

With qiksense, Singtel was able to configure the reward reveal experience, including:

  • Win or non-win result state
  • Reward message and prize name display
  • Branded reward screen UI to match Singtel’s campaign visuals

This made the reward experience clear, fast, and operationally smooth for event execution, while keeping the customer journey exciting and easy to complete.

Demo Preview and Fast Internal Approval 

One key advantage of qiksense was the ability to generate a live campaign preview instantly. 

This allowed Singtel to: 

  • Demonstrate the campaign to management
  • Get fast internal approval
  • Make immediate adjustments
  • Launch confidently before the event 

This removed the delays typically associated with approval and revisions.

No Hardware No Problem

Singtel did not have dedicated hardware prepared for the activation.

Since qiksense is designed for both digital and physical deployments, hardware and on-site manpower support was available when needed. At an additional cost, compatible hardware and support was provided to ensure the interactive campaign could run smoothly at the event booth.

By using qiksense, Singtel successfully launched their interactive engagement campaign within the one-week deadline.

Increased Booth Attraction and Customer Engagement

The Spin the Wheel mechanic helped attract visitors, creating excitement and encouraging participation. Customers who made purchases were rewarded through the experience, reinforcing positive engagement with the brand.

This helped Singtel:

  • Increase booth traffic
  • Enhance customer experience
  • Strengthen purchase engagement

Real-Time Campaign Performance Visibility

Beyond engagement, Singtel gained access to real-time campaign performance data through the qiksense dashboard.

This allowed their marketing team to:

  • Track participation and engagement metrics
  • Monitor reward distribution

  • Present measurable results to stakeholders
  • Identify insights to optimise future activations
